There’s a winner! Congratulations to Shrederdude 63! His response was well done (he answered on the Find It Fridays #1 post, for those who want to see his answer), and his guest post is under this week’s riddle. Here’s where the bear was from last week: (it’s not there anymore)

It was under the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 review, under Shooters, under Video Games. Here’s the explanation of last weeks riddle. The first part refers to Theodore Roosevelt, who inspired the teddy bear, after refusing to shoot one during a hunting trip. The second one reinforces the fact that it is a toy. The third refers to Samantha Maxis, the girl from the Call of Duty Zombies lore. There is a giggling sound when the player spends money to purchase a mystery gun, and they get a teddy bear instead. The fourth line explains how when a player hears her laugh as a result of the bear, they are inconvenienced and must set out to a new location.

Many of you probably recognize me as the former writer for this blog’s page, NFL New: 24.7 Updates On America’s Game. I am currently the owner of the prestigious blog intotheendzone.com. Find It Fridays #1

Yes, I know, it’s not Friday. But this series is going to be advanced every Friday after today. Here’s how it works. I give you a riddle. You have to follow the riddle and find what is hidden. You have from the Friday it is posted to the next Friday. On the next Friday, there will be a new Find It. Get it? Here’s how it works.Let’s say that somewhere on this site, there is a balloon hidden. A picture of a balloon. You viewers have a week to scavenge the site and find the picture. I have a picture hidden either inside a review, on top of a review, under a review, by a Rage Segment, in a Fan Question, even a post. It could be anywhere. You’ll receive some hints from this riddle that will be given in a second. Read it carefully. It will give clues as to where the picture is hidden, as well as what it is. If you find the picture, leave a comment with the page you found it on and the content it was found on. (which movie review, vid game review, book review, Rage Segment, Fan Question, etc.) Plus…important. YOU MUST EXPLAIN EVERY LINE OF THE POEM, connecting each line to a clue as to what the item is. Finding it isn’t enough. You’ve got to explain each line. I’m not expecting an essay, guys, just a couple of sentences mentioning each key part, so I know that it’s not a blind guess. The Grey Review

The Grey-(R)-(Blu-Ray worthy)

Liam Neeson + Wolves = A movie I have to check out. The Grey is about Ottway, a man who struggles to protect himself and an oil rigging team, who survive a plane crash in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Alaska. They have to stick out the cold, and, even more deadly, the wolves (and their inner demons and fears.) The three key points to this movie are characters, suspense, and plot. The characters are key. If they aren’t interesting, or if you don’t care about them, you don’t care if they get taken by the wolves for meat. Luckily, this movie unites you with the characters, so that you feel sympathy when they are faced with a life-or-death situation. Liam Neeson’s character is very complex and very interesting. You feel for him the whole time. The suspense is nail-biting. You are paranoid of the shadows every second, and every time there is silence, your eyes are scanning the screen, because you never know when the wolves were going to attack. I’ve never felt this much suspense in a while. You are never comfortable, even during the rare moments of rest and story-telling, because you know that a wolf could pop up any minute. And I’m not talking about noble Husky -type wolves. I mean savage black wolves. The suspense keeps you on edge and holding your breath the whole time. The plot is varied, which is good, because traversing snow isn’t interesting in itself. Thankfully, things happen which keeps the plot interesting. The way this movie ends satisfied me, but will it satisfy YOU? It depends. Watch the movie and let me know. The Grey is a Filet. The direction is great as well. This film strikes many emotional chords, and it is more about the struggle between mind and man than wolf and man. Nonetheless, there are plenty of wolves to keep you occupied, when your eyes aren’t busy scanning the screen for indication of a pending wolf attack. This movie is deep, and Liam Neeson’s character is as strong as can be. Because of the deepness and suspense, The Grey is a worthy Filet. It was crazily intense, to say the least.

My Hope and Fears for the Avengers

Check out this new trailer, an extension from what was featured in the Super Bowl.

Now that you’ve seen that, you’re probably open-mouthed. Let’s run it down. Here are the superheroes and the people who play them.

Iron Man- Robert Downey Jr.

Black Widow- Scarlett Johansson (as seen in Iron Man 2)

Thor- Chris Hemsworth

Hawkeye- Jeremy Renner (as seen in Thor)

Captain America (Chris Evans)

Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)

I think I got all of them, right? I’m going to walk through what I am looking forward to and what I’m afraid might happen to this flick.

WHAT I HOPE TO SEE- I want some banter. We got a taste of banter between Iron Man and Cap. America in the first trailer released, and we’re going to need some of that in a movie that will be full of explosions and action. With the banter, I also want Jarvis, Iron Man’s computer assistant, who had to endure providing statistics for Tony Stark’s tedious suit tests from the first movie. Scarlett Johansson knows what I want from her…I want her to speak to Loki in Frost Giant language. She spoke Latin in the first Iron Man, why can’t she speak Frost Giant? That’d be cool if she dissed Loki in his own language. Also, I’m expecting a new side to Jeremy Renner. He seems to always play the tough guy,and I’m not very comic-savvy, so I don’t know if Hawkeye has a tough-guy personality. Hopefully not. I want to see him take on a shy character, or a humble one at least. I also need Thor to ask for a horse. I want this movie to pay some respect to Chris Hemsworth’s line from Thor , “I need a horse!” I need to see this guy ask for a horse at some point in this movie. The Hulk…I hope he’s not just used for destruction. Let Mark Ruffalo be used as a goofy womanizer, or a soft type of guy. It would be a delightful punch in the face to have the Hulk be comedic relief when he’s not big and green. Next, there’s a rumor floating around about Spiderman making a cameo appearance. I’m not a fan of Spiderman, but with the first one being remade (and it looking good) that means that this guy playing the new Spiderman would make the appearance, thus hyping the new Spiderman. That’d be cool to see. Remember how in X-Men: First Class, Wolverine made one of the best cameos to date? Well, what if the heroes were kicking some butt when Spiderman flies their way, shoots some guys with his web, nods to the heroes he saved, and shoots himself away with his webs? That’s be so cool. Ok. Getting off topic. Lastly, something that I NEED in this movie is a relation between Iron Man and Captain America, because Captain America knew Tony’s dad! This needs to be what unites them to fight together, or else Captain America’s movie would be useless. (it was quite bad, and this hope is all I go out of it) Those were my hopes and prayers for the Avengers, but I have some fears as well.

WHAT I’M AFRAID OF- Clashing egos is the number one thing I’m worried about. So many stars need to share the spotlight. Will they? Yes. But will they share it willingly? Will they have chemistry together? Will they all feel individual? I hope so. These guys have to come together and work well as actors. This can feel like a match-up that won’t work, or team made in heaven. Another issue. POV issues. Is the movie going to focus mostly on one character mostly? The leader? I hope not. Thor and Iron Man are my favorites out of the Avengers, and yet I understand that their time will be divided. For example, each hero has a task to infiltrate the blah blah blah to destroy the blah blah blah. That’s cool. Now, let Iron Man handle something and destroy a hallway of bad-guys, let the Hulk destroy a hallway of bad-guys, and show the action sequence for each hero that will leave its individual fans in awe. Make me love the heroes I don’t love now. I have another fear. Hawkeye. Nobody knows his character. He made a quick cameo in Thor, but he didn’t really do anything. We don’t know his personality. Is he going to be the weak link? This movie can’t spend time developing his character, or else it’ll focus on HIM, not THE AVENGERS. Hawkeye isn’t really a big name in the superhero franchise, and the reason why the movies leading up to The Avengers developed characters is so that they didn’t have to develop them in this big production. Hawkeye might spoil that. Lastly, I hope this doesn’t feel like a two and a half hour war fest. I pray that it’s not like this: Loki is invading. Nick Fury rounds up the team. They kick ass for the whole movie with no time to rest, no time to meet each other, and no time to establish anything other than: Let’s beat everyone up and the day will be saved. THIS is my worst nightmare.

Yeah, so this movie COULD be epic, or it could be the biggest waste of money and effort of the 21st century. What do YOU want to see in the Avengers? What are YOU worried about? Let me know in the comments.

Super Bowl Commercials: My favorites and Analysis

First off, my five favorite Super Bowl Commercials are on the Funny Commercials Page under Videos.
Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about the commercials this year. The clear winner with the best commercials is Doritos. They had a good amount of hilarious commercials, and they delivered, like usual. Coke, on the other hand, didn’t do so well. They had 3 to 4 commercials during game day, but they all featured some lame polar bears. I understand that the polar bear symbolizes The Coca-Cola Company, but the bears couldn’t live up to the humor of the Doritos commercials, let alone the M&M “Sexy and I Know it” ad. Pepsi made another Coca-Cola-fan-turned-to-Pepsi commercial, driving Coke farther down in popularity. The popular vampire trend was addressed in an Audi commercial, mocking their vulnerability to sunlight. Budweiser featured a dog named “Here we Go,” who gave beer to anyone who said his name, and also included some Prohibition commercials, which didn’t sit well, I would assume, because not many people will find humor in a commercial involving history on Super Bowl Sunday. Over all, there were some great commercials this year, but sadly, Coca-Cola didn’t pull through, in my opinion. 18 DAYS IN AND WE BROKE THE RECORD! I SURPASSED THE THE GOAL AMOUNT OF 1074 in a month! The final total of views won’t be released until the end of the month, and January Madness will still happen, but not in daily updates. There will be less constant updates for the days following, but on the 30th, I will post all the remaining content in one day. Thanks for all of the shout-outs, views, requests, and recommendations.
